COVID -19 | HEALTH & SAFETY:
Upon arriving at Sparkles n' Sawdust Studio for a workshop, registered guests will find a sign-in/screening sheet outside our studio door. We ask that each participant please fills this out, after using the provided hand sanitizer. Guests are required to follow social distancing protocols throughout this process. Our studio door remains locked until the workshop start time, as we prepare to welcome each guest in one at a time. If you have someone joining you, please let us know and we are happy to seat you both together.

Please see the following screening questions below, that you can expect to answer upon arrival. Anyone who answers yes to any of these questions will not be permitted to enter the studio and is recommended to return home and self isolate.

As of October 4th all Nova Scotians are required by law to provide proof of full vaccination to participate in recreational activities. We are required to verify your vaccination status prior to entering the studio and will do this during the sign-in process.
If possible, please arrive 5-10 minutes before the event start time to get signed-in. Our workshops are carefully timed and therefore to make sure that everyone get the most of the experience, attendees who arrive more than 5 minutes late are not permitted to participate and therefore will forfeit their ticket. Thank you for your cooperation!
If a workshop in unable to be held due to new covid-19 restrictions, you will be notified by email and receive a credit note, with no expiration date.

Q. Who are your workshops for?
A. Adults (19+)
Q. What if I am not creative or have no art experience?
A. No problem! We welcome people from all walks of life and backgrounds. We provide a friendly, welcoming and low-pressure style of teaching.
Q. What do I need to bring with me?
A. Just your fabulous self! Supplies is always included in our in-studio workshops! All supplies is divided up in advance and safely distributed into each individual plexiglass cubicle before you arrive. Therefore, no sharing is needed. You do not need to bring a physical copy of your e-ticket with you, you will sign-in upon arrival.
If you are attending a painting workshop of any type, aprons are provided, which are washed regularly. Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting messy!
Please note: Art and craft supplies is provided for in-studio use only and not to take home
Registration Policy: Online registration is required in advance, to attend any workshops. All of our in-studio workshops are scheduled through Eventbrite, which is a safe and highly trusted ticketing platform. Please note, that walk-ins are not accepted - sorry!
Cancellation Policy: Sparkles n' Sawdust reserves the right to cancel a class, if our minimum enrollment is not met. In this circumstance, you can expect to receive an email notification at a minimum of 24 hours in advance. A credit note or class transfer will be issued, with no expiration date.
Inclement Weather Policy: If we are unable to host a workshop due to inclement weather, you can expect to receive email notification and a credit note will be provided, with no expiration date. Studio closures are also posted on our social media accounts @sparklesnsawdusthalifax
Refund Policy: Due to our studio offering small and personalized workshops, we do not offer refunds or class credits for any missed workshops. However, what we do provide for our guests is an unforgettable experience!
The Smoke-free Places Act: By law It is illegal to smoke within 4 meters of windows, air intake vents and entrances to places of employment. The Smoke-free Places Act applies to all combustibles, including tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and waterpipes. Please do not smoke in front of the building entrance.
Food & Beverage Policy: No food or outside beverages are permitted to be consumed within the studio. We have a cold water cooler with eco friendly disposable cups for guests. Participants are permitted to drink water, while seated within their individual cubicle space. Upon completion, we ask that you put your mask back on for everyone's safety - thank you!
Scent Policy: We are not a scent free studio, however please be mindful of others who may have scent sensitivities and try to avoid wearing strongly scented perfumes or colognes - thank you!
By attending a workshop held by Sparkles n' Sawdust Studio, you agree that you will not reproduce, replicate or redistribute any element of the workshop or materials provided or content from our website or social platforms in part or full for commercial use.
